Wind shelter

Protect your animals, winter or summer alike. Animals that spend more than 16 hours outdoors in winter should have access to an open shed with a roof and three enclosed sides. It is recommended that the open side is south-facing. With a Kellfri wind shelter, the animals have a clean, dry place to lie down. Your choice of wind shelter model and size will depend on what sort of animals you have, and how many. There should be enough room for all the animals in the wind shelter at the same time.

Even in summer, it's great for the animals to have a wind shelter or open shed. Gnats don't usually bite when they go under a roof, and horseflies don't go under roofs at all, which means the animals have peace and quiet during the times of day when the insects are most active.

Horses, which are flight animals and can set off running when they are stressed by insects, have peace and quiet, which also reduces the risk of injury.
