The Kellfri 13-WC150HD is a robust and high-performance tractor chipper that combines power, precision, and user-friendliness. With a capacity for branches up to 150 mm in diameter and a hydraulic feed system with touch control, it is built to deliver consistent chipping, high productivity, and long service life – even under demanding working conditions. Thanks to its smart transport mode, your transport is both safer and smoother, while the machine takes up minimal space during storage.

Efficient performance and smart hydraulic system

The chipper handles branches, trunks, and wood waste up to 150 mm and offers an impressive capacity of up to 13 m³ of chips per hour. The powerful 680 mm cutting disc with four hardened blades ensures a fine and even chip result – perfect for both commercial chipping and larger private projects.

The hydraulic system with dual feed rollers and reverse function smoothly pulls in the material, reducing manual effort and optimizing the chipping speed. Both the upper and lower feed rollers have horizontal feed patterns for the best possible grip on the logs being chipped. For thicker logs, always feed the narrow end first for best traction. The chipper’s feed rollers are spring-loaded for maximum grip and feeding power. The rollers are driven by a hydraulic motor.

The 7" touch screen allows you to easily adjust the feed speed (three modes: forward, reverse, stop) and view current RPM and feed rate in real time. The system is powered via the included 7-pin trailer connector, making installation simple and straightforward.

Robust construction and high user-friendliness

The chipper features a hinged cover that provides quick access to the blades – making maintenance and blade changes safe and time-efficient. The 360° rotatable discharge chute makes it easy to direct the chips, whether loading directly into a trailer or spreading them on the ground. The deep hopper and RPM monitor provide increased safety and control during operation. The RPM guard automatically stops the feed if the tractor’s RPM drops too much due to heavy load, for example when the material is too thick or being fed in excessive amounts. The infeed hopper is equipped with a splash guard to prevent smaller material from being thrown back toward the operator during use. The infeed opening to the cutting disc measures 15 x 20 cm.

For increased safety, the chipper is certified according to the EN 13525:2020 safety standard, meaning it meets the latest user protection and construction requirements. Thanks to its flexible design, the 13-WC150HD fits tractors between 40–100 hp (30–75 kW). It is delivered with a three-point hitch (category 1 & 2) and a PTO shaft with shear bolt, providing a simple and stable connection – ready for operation upon delivery. Depending on the type of wood and material being chipped, achieving the best chipping capacity and performance may require as high RPM as possible. PTO 540 rpm is the minimum speed for effective chipping, and the maximum is 1000 rpm.

If the logs and branches are wet, it’s recommended to remove the thickest branches before feeding. For dry material, simply feed directly without pre-cutting.

With a total weight of 440 kg and a 90 kg cutting disc, the chipper is built to withstand continuous use under tough conditions. Its sturdy construction, high-quality bearings, and durable components ensure a reliable chipper with long service life and minimal maintenance.
